Like that, in the Korean language also, we have many particles, subject/topic, object, place, direction, plural, duration, etc,. Even if you don't use these particles, Korean people can still understand you, but if you're learning the language seriously, then it is very important to study that language in its perfection. So let's start!

도 - (Also) Example sentences using 도

The particle 도 is an additive particle, which means -  also, too,... It is used to add an item or object to another. In case, if you are using this particle in any sentences, then you don't have to use the subject/topic particles. You'll get a complete sentence with this particle. Let's look at some examples,
  • 저도 학생이에요- I'm a student too.
        Jeodo hagsaengieyo
  • 나도 영화 좋아해 - I like movies too
        Nado yeonghwa johahae.
  • 나도 미국 사람이에요- I'm also from America
         Nado migook saramieyo

으로/로 - (direction particle) Example sentences using 으로/로

Basically, you can use this particle to express the direction or location where something is happening. This particle has the same meaning as 에 in some sense. But this has other meanings also. Let's look at some examples, then it'll be easier for you.

This particle is used to describe the start and end of a specific period of time. Or, in other words, this particle means -  from-to. 부터 is used to mention the starting of something and 까지 is used to mention the end of somethings. Let's look at some examples
